We not only form new organizations, we help NPOs undertake the long-term planning required to sustain themselves for the next half decade and beyond.  To thrive beyond the term of government grants and contracts, organizations must plan now to understand their competitive environment, their strategic advantages and shortcomings.  New services, revenue streams and geographic reach must be considered with careful deliberation in the context of the present and future capacity of the agency.  The CESI founders initiated this service at the request of local foundations more than two decades ago, serving more than a dozen clients; the energy efficiency market is the present locus of this activity.
