CESI's Mike Weedall Receives Prestigious Conservation Eagle Award

The NorthWest Energy Coalition has honored Clean Energy Solutions' Mike Weedall with it's most prestigious award: the Bob Olsen Conservation Eagle award for energy efficiency. Mr. Weedall served as Vice President of Energy Efficiency for the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and played a key leadership role in advancing the region’s clean and affordable energy future.

BPA is a federal power marketing agency, and provides approximately 35% of the electricity to the Pacific Northwest region.

Carrboro and Chapel Hill WISE programs hold WISE mob

CESI, program managers for the Carrboro and Chapel Hill WISE energy efficiency programs, held a WISE mob, similar to a cash mob, at the first small commercial business to participate in the Energy Efficiency Revolving Loan fund. Surplus Sid's, a local institution in Carrboro, upgraded their HVAC equipment, insulated the roof and sealed air leaks in the building and is now saving over 70% on their utility bills from this time last year.

CESI helps GCEA secure funding and support
