Our Services

Clean Energy Solutions, Inc. is an energy efficiency consulting firm that works with local governments, nonprofits, businesses, foundations and utilities to design and assist early implementation of comprehensive energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation initiatives promising significant reductions in carbon footprints, electricity demand, and energy use across all sectors.

CESI supports a wide range of clients as they develop comprehensive strategies to tackle their most pressing energy and enivronmental issues. Leveraging our experienced staff, we help these organizations:

  • Craft business plans and raise capital,
  • Incorporate and achieve 501(c)(3) exemption,
  • Assemble management teams and develop governance structures,
  • Design effective marketing programs,
  • Assess project financing options, and
  • Develop long-term sustainable revenue sources.

The economics of sustainable energy-efficiency programs are ultimately based on capturing the value of waste and improving the value of properties in a commercial world. That economic reality can support increased comfort, reliability, power quality, security, environmental responsibility, and the health and safety of facilities and transportation, without taxpayer expense.

To maintain leadership in this rapidly-growing field, CESI is increasingly applying cutting-edge technologies to local programs. Examples include development of municipal “efficiency utilities,” smart-grid applications, energy assurance alternatives in emergencies, applications of information technology and measurement & verification protocols, financial modeling, and the design and qualification of energy “attributes” like carbon offsets and forward capacity market bids. Energy alliances and local governments must adapt such technologies to the generation of sustainable revenues, to secure their long-term vitality beyond the duration of start-up grants.
