Measurement and Verification

CESI provides measurement and verification services that address savings at a program, project or energy savings measure level. We design EMV Protocols to meet the specific needs of our clients including real-time and long-term energy savings methodologies, gross and net CO2 reduction calculations, market sector and financial incentive impact analysis, identification of participation barriers and customer comfort and satisfaction levels.  We are expert in the most widely used energy savings protocols, such as the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), and verification methodologies for emissions trading and demand-response resources in forward capacity markets.
